muddy buddy

i had heard about the muddy buddy (http://www.muddybuddy.com/) from some of my co-workers and thought that it sounded like a lot of fun that involved a team of two doing some mountain biking and trail running. so, i signed us up! vik and i tackled about a seven mile course of hills, trails, and obstacles leap-frogging each other taking turns running and biking thru pocahontas state park. it was a fun event that culminated in a huge mud pit that we crawled through to the finish line. definitely a challenging event, but a lot of fun! team ubs did well in its debut, however, are determined to garner an even better time next year! once vik and i crossed the finish line, we were pleasantly surprised to be immediately greeted by sathya, her parents, my parents, my uncle anish and our biggest supporter - avi! take a look at some of our favorite pics from the event!
