when avi was born, he was 19 1/2 inches from head to toe and that fell within the 20th percentile for height. considering we weren't blessed with too much height, falling in a lower percentage was not unusual. fast forward to month 10 - the little man is now a daunting 28 inches! doesn't sound like a lot, but that elevates him to the 55th percentile!! no complaints here :) now, they say that these percentages really don't mean much as things can drastically change as they grow up. but for a short guy like me, i don't think there is anything wrong with enjoying it while it lasts! so for today, our little guy is not so little . who knows what the future may hold for "above average in height" avi gupta!august 29th
