...or that! baby-proofing time! so, we started the process of eliminating all of the potential dangers in our house to minimize the risk of avi's curiosity leading to something harmful. naturally, we secured all of the kitchen cabinets/drawers, put covers on all of the electrical outlets, and installed a safety latch on the stove. we also pulled up some, not all, of the more fragile items on display in our family room. we purposely left a few items out, as we hope that avi will learn to establish boundaries - "hope" being the operative word! lastly, we donated our old coffee table and replaced it with a nice cushiony leather one that wouldn't hurt as much in case the little guy tries to head butt it. we had fun bringing safety to our family room and it was comforting to see that avi agreed with some of our decisions! in this video clip, you can clearly hear avi saying "ah, ah, ah"; recognizing the dangers that lie behind the kitchen cabinet!september 30th
