It's all about me!

It's all about me!

avi, the mover & shaker

tummy time has always been an activity avi hasn't been too fond of; which is a bit odd, since most babies really enjoy being on thier belly! needless to say, it is a part of his daily routine and directy correlates to how quickly babies develop enough strength to garner more mobility. at best, we are able to get 5 minutes of quality time on his stomach before the chorus of complaints commence! however, with determination and a steady daily dose, we have started to notice significant improvement in his tummy time. which we believe is improving upon his ability to wiggle around, change positions, and demonstrate the first signs of mobility! as much fun it is to see his progression, it also means we have more to worry about! often times, we will find his exploring nature, curiosity, and unwillingness to sit still to lead to him being in a completely different position than the one we left him in. in fact, one morning, i arrived at his crib after a long restful nite to find him on the opposite side of the crib than the one he was originially placed within when we put him to bed. he is swaddled up, shouldn't have enough leverage to turn his body completely around, upside down, and every which direction he desires - yet he can! the culmination of this "inch-worm" mobility came when the little guy finally rolled over on his own! watch out world, avi is on the move!
