after a tentative first meeting, kiya and avi seem to be getting along quite well! the initial encounters were best described as - "who are you??" but, slowly and surely, the two of them have broken down those barriers and certainly will become the best of buds! we first noticed the two of them making eye contact a few weeks ago...this slowly progressed to a lick of the hand or foot, a nose sniff of avi, and finally an awkward hand pat from avi to kiya! just yesterday, avi was getting his daily dose of tummy time when kiya proceeded to drop one of her favorite toys right in front of the little guy. for those of you that don't know kiya, well if she drops a toy in front of you, you have finally arrived! you are now in her inner-circle; however, her inner-circle pretty much consists of anyone that can play with her :)
